World Nomads Group rebrands to nib Travel to support growth plans

Leading Australian-based travel insurance provider, World Nomads Group (WNG) today announced it will be sporting a new look from tomorrow, with the business to be re-branded to nib Travel, opens in a new tab.

From 11 April 2019, the WNG business as well as several of its additional entity names will be updated to the nib brand. There will be no changes to its consumer brands such as World Nomads, opens in a new tab, Travel Insurance Direct (TID), opens in a new tab, nib, opens in a new tab and SureSave, opens in a new tab.

WNG Chief Executive Officer (Acting), Mr David Kan, said the updated branding better reflects the Group's corporate profile.

"We've been part of the nib Group family since 2015 but as we continued to expand our offering and distribution channels, we recognised an opportunity to also refresh our corporate look," Mr Kan said.

"The refreshed brand will help support our growth aspirations both in Australia and abroad," he said.

There will be no changes to WNG's level of service or insurance cover for travellers beyond the corporate name change.

"While our look may have changed, our commitment remains the same. Our travel services are still designed help people travel safely," Mr Kan said.
