We're a finalist for the 2016 Hunter Business Awards

We're proud to announce nib is a finalist for this year's Hunter Business Awards. In recognition of the support nib foundation delivers in the Hunter community through its commitment to local charity partners, we've been nominated in the Contribution to the Region category.

Over the past year, nib foundation has supported a range of Hunter organisations including Dungog Shire Community Centre in the wake of the devastating April 2015 floods, the Tantrum Youth Arts interactive performance to inform young people on the issue of domestic violence, and the Cooks Hill Surf Life Saving Club to create and deliver a program to help our multicultural community better understand surf and water safety.

Since its inception in 2008, 54% of all projects funded by nib foundation have been either locally based, or large scale state or national health initiatives with a presence in the Hunter region. Financially, this Hunter specific commitment is now upwards of $11 million in grants.

More information about nib foundation and their partners is available on the nib foundation website.

The Hunter Business Awards is considered Australia's most prestigious regional business awards acknowledging excellence and diversity across the region, so it’s a great honour to be a finalist.

The winner of the award will be announced at a ceremony on Friday, 5 August so stay tuned to see if we are successful.
