Before you start, read our claiming checklist

Extras claiming

  • Check your policy inclusions to see if you’re covered.

  • Take a look at ‘My Extras’ usage to see your limits and waiting periods.

  • Confirm your service is within the past two years. We can’t pay claims after this period. 

  • Check your services are itemised and listed separately on your receipts.

  • For Extras claims excluding Ambulance, we’ll pay you directly. Please ensure your provider is paid.

Hospital claiming

  • Check your policy inclusions to see if you’re covered.

  • Confirm your service is within the past two years. We can’t pay claims after this period.

  • Check that your services are itemised and listed separately on your receipts.

  • If you have already paid, we’ll pay you directly. If you haven’t paid, we’ll pay your provider.

How to claim

  1. Select ‘Claims’ from the main navigation menu

  2. Choose 'Make a claim'

  3. Pick the category for the service you're claiming for. For example, if you are claiming glasses, select 'Optical'

    For some categories, you might need to provide extra documentation. Once you select your category, we’ll tell you exactly what’s needed 

  4. You can either scan your receipt or upload a photo or document of it

    Make sure your documents are clear and readable, as blurry images may lead to claim rejection 

  5. If you are happy with your claim, select 'Submit claim'.
