How to add or remove someone from your policy

To add your partner or spouse to your health insurance policy, contact us, opens in a new tab directly.

Here’s what you need to know:

  • New members will have waiting periods, but we’ll count any waiting periods they’ve already served with another fund

  • Claims made by your partner or spouse this year will count towards their annual limits

  • You can ask us to request a transfer certificate if needed

  • If you have singles cover, you’ll need to upgrade to couples or family cover to add a new member

  • After adding your partner or spouse, you can make them the primary policyholder at any time, even during their waiting periods. Learn about assigning levels of authority, opens in a new tab
