Winners of our Good Sports banner competition enjoy the ultimate AFL experience
Read about the Winners of our Good Sports Junior banner competition, The Macorna Football Netball Club and their ultimate AFL experience.
Winners of our Good Sports Junior banner competition, The Macorna Football Netball Club, had the ultimate AFL experience after they led the Tigers' through their own designed banner and onto the field at the MCG!
Last month, the group of 12 young sporting stars took to the field at the MCG stadium to show off their winning banner to a roaring crowd of 90,000.
We teamed up with our partner, the Alcohol and Drug Foundation, to provide this great opportunity for the Macorna Football Netball Club, after they took out the prize for the most creative representation of 'what being a good sport means'.
The winners not only had their design transformed into the match day banner for the Tigers' first home game but also had the opportunity to form a guard of honour for the Tigers on game night. In addition, two of the team members were chosen to lead the reigning premiers through their winning banner and onto the field. To say they were excited is an understatement.
