What is Telehealth?

Telehealth makes it easy to access quality healthcare at a time and place that suits you.

We have partnered with hub.health to give you access to an experienced network of Australian-based medical doctors and nurse practitioners.

Appointments are available from 8am – 8pm AEST, 365 days a year.

Services provided include:

  • Medical certificates*

  • Treatments recommended by a medical doctor or nurse practitioner^

  • Treatment for common illnesses (such as colds and flu)

  • Specialist referrals

  • Pathology and radiology requests

  • General medical advice.

*The provision of a medical certificate is not guaranteed and will depend on the information provided during your consultation and whether the medical doctor or nurse practitioner deems it to be appropriate.

^The provision of treatments is not guaranteed. It will be based on the information you provide during your consultation and whether the medical doctor or nurse practitioner deems it to be appropriate for the care of your individual health needs. Please note that treatments which have high potential for misuse, abuse or addiction (including morphine, hydromorphine, pethidine, methadone, codeine phosphate, oxycodone and anabolic steroids) cannot be recommended via telehealth.

The cost of telehealth appointments are included for Overseas students and workers (if the policy includes out-patient GP services).
