Funding
Each year we provide up to $2 million in funding to partnerships that share our vision for all people to live longer in better health.
Better Health Partners
In 2025 we commenced new partnerships with four peak bodies working to prevent the major chronic health conditions faced by Australians including cancer, diabetes, heart disease, and mental ill-health.
Our Better Health Partners are leaders in their field. We are proud to support their work to improve the health of all Australians and advocate for better health equity.
Funding for this program is fully allocated.

Partners for Health Equity
The opportunity for good health is not equal. Some people face more barriers to finding the help they need. We have a special interest in reducing barriers, increasing access to culturally safe health care and improving health outcomes for:
First Nations peoples
People living with disability
People living in regional and remote areas
People from culturally diverse backgrounds
We are currently developing these partnerships through targeted invitations and look forward to sharing more detail soon.

Promoting prevention through our Prevention Partners
Our Prevention Partners funding program closed in 2024. We are very proud of the innovative digital health solutions and programs our Prevention Partners have developed over the last eight years which continue to empower people to take small steps to reduce preventable and lifestyle risks for chronic disease.

Enabling equality through our Aboriginal Health Partnerships funding
Providing over $1 million to community-controlled organisations from 2020-2024, this program was designed to support self-determination and improved health and wellbeing outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, with a focus on youth emotional and social wellbeing. The funded projects were conceived and led by community and saw over 1,000 people participate.
While this funding program has now closed, we are pleased to continue to our commitment to First Nations health through the Partners for Health Equity program.
