We’ve welcomed our first female Chairman
Meet our first female Chairman, Mrs Judi Geggie!
We are thrilled to announce the appointment of our first female Chairman, Mrs Judi Geggie, to our independent volunteer Board following the retirement of former Chairman, Mr Keith Lynch.
Mrs Geggie steps up to the helm after five years’ experience as an Independent Director on the Board, making her a perfect fit for the role. She also brings with her an extensive career of more than 30 years in community and family services, and education management roles.
Judi says she’s honoured to be the first female Chairman to lead the foundation Board and to represent the growing number of women on Boards and in leadership roles across Australia. She’s looking forward to an exciting future for nib foundation as we continue to play an active role in helping Australians across the country improve their health and wellbeing
Judi also thanked her predecessor, Keith Lynch, for both his six-year tenure as Chairman and being a driving force behind nib foundation, including playing an instrumental role in establishing the foundation during his time as Chairman of nib.
The foundation also recently welcomed nib’s Group Executive Legal & Chief Risk officer, Roslyn Toms to the Board bringing our female representation to 50%. Currently also Company Secretary of nib holdings limited, Ms Toms brings with her a wealth of experience in legal, risk, compliance and governance disciplines.
