Are you a registered charity with a presence in the Hunter looking for a funding boost? We have a very special opportunity for you!
To celebrate our 10th anniversary of giving, we're launching a special grant round, Pitch for a Healthy Cause, with $100,000 in funding up for grabs for three charities who are working to improve health and wellbeing outcomes for vulnerable and disadvantaged communities of people in the Newcastle and Hunter region.
A special selection panel will shortlist three finalists who will participate in a special anniversary Pitch Night Event on 17 October 2018 at Newcastle Museum. In addition, the finalists will participate in a Pitch Coaching Workshop run by our event partner, The Funding Network, opens in a new tab.
The funding will be allocated in two parts:
$10,000 will be put to a 'People's Choice' vote on The Check Up, opens in a new tab in the lead up to the event (coming soon!);
The remaining $90,000 will be allocated on the Pitch Night event by invited attendees.
It's been a big decade of giving with the foundation providing $16 million in funding to support more than 100 charities to make a real and measurable difference to the health and wellbeing of people and communities across Australia.

It's a great opportunity for our closest stakeholders to come together to celebrate the great work of the foundation and its partners, while also taking part in a positive initiative that brings to life what nib foundation is all about - helping people and communities live healthier lives.
