About AIN
In 2016, AIN introduced their first robotic therapy program, HELLEN in the Hunter following the purchase of a Rex Bionics free-standing robot, the only type of self-supporting exoskeleton in the world.
Since then, AIN has teamed up with researchers from the University of Newcastle and local physiotherapists to offer free robotic therapy to Hunter residents while evaluating outcomes.
What's next
With our funding, AIN can continue to offer robotic therapy sessions to Hunters residents, including intensive one-month programs (12 sessions) which evaluate the impact of the therapy from MRI scans.
